i thought you were only entitled to claim if you have overpaid.

you can, on the other hand, off set any future taxes against such things as lease hire or capital purchases. provided these are attributed to the business of course.

depends what your status is ie self employed, vat registered company etc. It also depends on the specifics of the car agreement ie is it hire, lease and purchase etc etc. Various different rules apply.
