Tear in roof lining

I was up in the loft today and noticed a few tears/holes in the roof lining. Havn't noticed any water coming in so the tiles appear to be doing their job, but want to address this before we head into Winter.

I found this video which looks doable:

Is that the best way to repair something like this?
