Temp and Press control valve

I have a Mega-Flo CL210S 210 Litres
It has developed a leak where the thread of the TPV joins the cylinder. Are there any probs with me draining down the system, removing the valve and replacing it with Boss White or PTFE , after cleaning off and scale ?

if you are G3 trained and registered you would know the answer.
as you don't it is time to call an unvented trained person to deal with it.
