Do you have a thermostatic shower, or a manual one. If you turn up the temperature, how long does it then go for. What's the temperature set on the tank stat, or where do you adjust it.

Sorry i didnt mean i have to up the temperature of the system or boiler i have to up the temperature on the shower control

I realised what you were saying. If you have to increase the temperature control on the shower, do you get a good shower after that, and for how long. This could be a shower fault rather than a hot water temperature fault. If you run the bath, does the water temperature get cold as you draw more water off, or does it stay the same temperature.

Hi Doggit
yes i get a good shower when i turn it back up, i dont have to touch it then. its a mixer shower tap . not noticed it with the bath

Okay, try it with the bath, and then see if the temperature of the water drops. If the temperature stay constant, then it's a fault with the shower.
