@ lostinthelight Sure but M10 or M12 is pretty mighty in reality. As a kid I too had a rope swing, nothing more complicated than a rope tied to a branch, a good swing does need to be pretty level though if it's to be comfortable to use otherwise you're constantly adjusting your swing, so to speak. Have to say though a couple of threaded eyebolts wouldn't have been my first choice.

Wrap the long sling round twice or whatever it takes to level them.
