with a multi core cable, is there a best practice in how they are terminated in the PIR? They aren’t connected in the panel but I want to ensure there is no possibility of shorts.

Ok. I see...
I haven’t wired these in the control panel and would prefer just tidying/making them safe in the PIR’s if at al possible?

Can I not use any miniature terminal ends? I know there is limited space inside the unit...

I’ve gone through each PIR today and used these connectors for unused wires and also sealed the cable entries.

...and the images

Probably no point but paranoid about the false Alarms I’ve had of late. Is it not possible that these unused wires are moving around and creating a short?

Can vibrations trigger a PIR?
On a serious note, whilst I don’t live in an earthquake zone, I do live on a busy street and at times I can feel larger vehicles and the associated vibration
