Hi,
I'm about to start on a hip to gable on a semi bungalow. Architect is drawing plans, and SE is doing calcs for steel for loft conversion changes.
There is a pretty good chance BC will want to asses the foundations, should be fine as couple of other houses on my street have done the same.
Question - the drive is tarmac and I'm not planning on replacing it. Any ideas on best approach for test pit ? I am drawing up plans for a very short extension to the rear on the kitchen which is going to extend along the same line as the hipped wall do I could break Tarmac there....
