i work for a maintenance firm as there inhouse electrician and we also have subbies

anyway i was looking at one of there pir,s and i noticed the readings on the ringmain sockets was a bit out on the continuity readings were


L=o.44ohms n= 0.67ohms and the cpc was= 0.77

doing the quick calculation i no that the n to n is to high

this report got a satisfactory result and nothing marked on the sheet about it ( no codes ect )

is this right or wrong me personaly i would fix the fault there and then

its a domestic flat

There is a fault on the neutral, probably a loose connection.

Possibly a damaged cable.

In my opinion it should have been remarked upon, and needs repairing.
 
Look on the bright side - at least you know they didn't just make the results up :LOL:
