Wire in series using terminals A&B normally closed circuit.Remove resistors and change zone wiring to normally closed in programming, that's if the control panel is a Texecom elite series.

Just forgot to mention that it has already a detector installed for the last 5 years. Yes it is a 24 zone Premier elite and all zones are used. So do I still do as you advise by removing the 4K7 and connect in series to the existing detector.
Below is photo of the existing detector wired.

Does the new detector go back to the control panel or are you wiring from existing smoke detector?

Can you post picture of new smoke detector wiring and connection to expander.

You have different coloured wires at expander to each smoke detectors.
Are these devices joint out on different cables?

Yes, I only relised this today That I used 4 core phone wire and I'm unable to replace it due to plasterboard and timber on the new ceiling detector.
Original cable on the expander are yellow and blue and the new one comming from new detector are r/w and bl/w

New detector remove resister between A & B
Old detector remove resistors and move wire from C to B
In expander move yellow to terminal next to white cable
Put wire link into tamper terminals next to white and yellow in zone 15.
