Hello,

I have an Elite 48 setup with working PIR zones which are wired EOL.

I have 2 zones which are Fire zones connected each to a Texecom 4W smoke detector.

My current wiring is:

Panel Smoke detector
Zone A (N/C)
Zone B Com.

The tamper terminals for the zone in question are linked together.
The 12V & 0V are wired in as well.

In Wintex I have the zone set to 'Normally Closed'

The problem is the zone never detects, it is always Secure and never activates.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Zone A / B ?
Doesn’t make sense ...post picture of case wiring and panel wiring

Apologies, it was better spaced out when I typed it! The A & B refer to the terminals on the smoke detector.

Here’s the photo of the smoke:

here’s the panel:

The tamper terminals are linked together with the white wire.

Ok that looks ok ...you shouldn’t have to set the zone to normally closed when using a premier 48 just leave at EOL and wire as picture , have you set that zone as fire ? And set to a Area ... have you tried the test button on the unit ? Or just twist the head out in unset mode ?

Thanks @sparkymarka , that was it, I changed the setting this morning and all now works as expected. Couldn't see the wood for the trees!!
