Texecom Elite 24 , 32XP-W learning a wireless keypad

Hello

I have a Elite 24 Ver5.2.1LS1 , a 32XP-W Ver2.1.2 and 2 wireless keypads , I have the dip switches on the 32XP-W with just address 1 on , no options selected , I have the panel connected to wintex via a smartcom and can see that the 32XP-W is connected to the panel and can see the tamper changing state in Diagnostics in Wintex.

My question is , what ever I do I cant learn a keypad to the panel , I go into zone setup , select zone 13(Z5 ono 32XP-W) press yes to learn device , put batterys in the keypad (address set to 1) , select yes to learn device but the timer runs out and keypad says no richochet network found.

You will have to excuse my lack of Texecom Knowledge , last time I was deep into alarm panels it was the early days of Galaxy and Scantronix , what I need to find out is whether the kit I have at there relevent firmware levels should be compatible with each other , if they are then I need to work out if I have the expander setup correctly and if theres something im missing with my very limeted knowledge of texecom.

You can’t, need version 3 expander

Thanks for the info , I thought as much but theres a lot of conflicing info on line about compatibility , will get hold a ver3 expander.
