Guys a couple of questions if you don’t mind.

I’m due to change my router to the BT Smart Hub 2 and I understand that the wi fi will not function correctly as it will chop and change from 2.4 & 5.0 GHz, if I connect via an Ethernet cable, will I need to alter any settings on the panel to maybe switch off the Wi-Fi connection for the smartCom?

And 2nd question, I have Hikvision cctv, can this be connected to the Tex app?

Cheers
AW

Maybe easier to set a new SSID for a guest network or change SSID and password of WiFi network to old one so everything will just connect if it doesn’t straight away reboot the router.

you can get a seperate router, like the ASUS(like i have) to connect your system-then you can keep you password the same if you need to change the bt hub... ISP routers tend to be pretty poor for wi-fi in my experiance, whatever they claim..
