Hi, I have a Texecom Premier Elite 24 alarm. At night I set the alarm to night time part arm. In the morning, when I come down the stairs, and the PIR sensor (downstairs hallway) picks up my movement, the keypad sounds a repeated beep sound. I want to change the repeated beep countdown sound on the keypad from a beep to a (quieter) chirp. Has anyone else managed to do this? Any help would be great, thanks

Don't believe you can change the volume of the entry tone.

you can adjust the keypad volume and you can adjust the advisory volume and chime volumes and speaker volumes, but not specifically e/e.

Sorry I’m not sure what they are. I’m using the keypad itself

If it helps I’m using engineer mode to access the options on the keypad panel.

sorry been busy, engineers code, 3 global options then scroll to system options, and advisory volume and chime volume, also you can go to keypad setup to adjust volumes on keypads attached.

No probs and cheers! Is the keypad setup under the same options area?

Come on at least try a little first.

Enter engineers code and scroll through you will find it.

The manual or quick guide is available online the quick guide can help you find options quickly.
Unfortunately when the firmware is upgraded some of the options may move around a little but are usually in the same place ish.

Ie
Zone setup option 1
Areas option 2
Global options 3
Keypad setup 4

And so on.

Although easiest is to use wintex in my opinion.

The manual covers what the various sound options control.

Brilliant, thank you - I’ve managed to do it! I turned the keypad volume down to level 1 (from 4) and now it ‘blips’ away nice and quietly when I enter the zone without disturbing anyone! :)
