Texecom premier elite speech module

hi there , I’ve recently installed a speech module to a premier elite 24 panel, I’ve pressed the record and rec1 and the red led comes on ready to record as stated , then after programming setting at keypad I found this is not dialling , I tried to re record but now there is no led light when I do this, this hasn’t happened to me before, does anyone know if this sounds like to module is faulty or a way to reset module.

firstly the speech module requires the com2400 connected to the phone line to dial out and the options programmed to use that protocol.

The alarm panel itself would need to be elite version 3.x to have the appropriate modifications on the panels PCB for it to work.
