I've been in a new place with a Texecom for about 3 months and this morning (why is it always weekends?) the control panel has started alarming with a "call engineer" message and I can't work out how to turn it off.
Manual is for "Premier 412/816/832".
Code supplied by previous owners not working, reading the manual and watching youtube vids, expect an acknowledgement chime after entering code which never seems to happen so assume it's wrong.
While the alarm inside my property is annoying as hell, I don't want to risk any outside alarm.
Help to get it cleared and save any sort of cost for a engineer callout would be really appreciated.

okay so you have the wrong manual for a start.

tye the code you were given twice straight after each other, does anything happen?

finally tracked down the main unit. It's a 32xp-w. Code given twice doesnt help

sent you a pm, if you phone in the next 30 minutes via whats app I will take a look for you

System had the code lockout, hard to say if that was due to incorrect code being entered or a mistake entering the code supplied by previous owner.

But will explain why subsequent code entry didn’t stop system from sounding.

System is now accessible (no longer screaming its head off internally), faults /issues exist on the system which need sorting out to make the system fully functional as advised, system not fully assessed.
