Texecom Veritas Alarm

Hi Guys

My last tennant has installed a veritas alarm, the one with the DCA 0001 led remote keypad,
im having problems setting it up for the new tennants, basically they want zone 1,2,5 & 6 working as part set
for when they go to bed at night. The issue is they can omit the zones 3 & 4 but for some reason zone 5 & 6
wont work when being part set, however zones 5 & 6 work when full set.
What am i doing wrong?

Zone 1 is the kitchen
zone 2 living room
zone 3 is hall
zone 4 is stairwell
zone 5 is frontdoor contact
zone 6 is backdoor contact

reason why zone 5 is frontdoor and 6 is backdoor is because we decided to have them fitted recently.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me, its so frustrating!

You will need to programme each zone for part set this should do it

You need to set up part set suite for each part set
Option 51
This will show you what zone are on in part set
So zone 3 and 4 led need to be off in the part suite and all other zones need to be lit(red)
Now when you part set zones 3 and 4 will be off.
Neil a option will only change zone function not set up part set function
To set up a part set suite you will need the engineer code to do this

Thanks mate it worked, just another question please, is there any reason entry/exit is hit & miss? It don't always activate when the door is opened, possibly 1 in every 5 tries does the entry /exit start timing down.

Are 100% sure door contacts are on entry/exit and not a movement sensor?
A door contact will start entry timer when door opened
A movement sensor will start entry time when first picks up movememt as long as it is programmed for entry/exit

What zone is near the keypad if any?

If you right down what you want what zones to do in full set and part set then can be more specific about the programming
