Texecom wintex 6.0 software

Ive just installed a texecom premier 48 panel and am trying to program it using wintex.

The problem im having is my wintex is quite an old version and I get a message saying as my panel has firmware 8.11 I should update wintex.

The texecom site however wont let me download as im not a registered installer, does anyone know of a site where i can get hold of the latest version?

Orignal disc came with com ip module so no web login details...

No disk with the Premier 48?

Panel firmware 8.11 is pretty old so presumably the panel is second hand?

Texecom support are usually helpful even for DIY installers so if you email or ring them they will probably sort it for you.

version 6 build 6 supports new elite version v2 so it cant be that old.... !

We don't know what version of Wintex the OP has, just that it is "quite an old version". It must be pretty old if it doesn't support the non-Elite Premier with firmware 8.11.

If the OP cant download version 6 for free from Texecom then Security Warehouse sell a download here although I can't see any mention of a version number on the site. Latest Wintex is version 6 build 18.

Must be a second hand panel - every panel I have had has the software bundled with it.
