Textured ceiling paint

I have a ceiling with textured paint. There are a few areas on the ceiling where blue tack has ripped off the textured paint. What is the best way of repairing these areas before I repaint the ceiling?

Put some polyfilla on them and stipple them with either the end of a bruch or use a sponge.

Wipe away any filler that overlaps onto the existing textured finish.
