An unecessary war.

Her cuts to the defence budget let to the withdrawal of the Royal Navy presence in the South Atlantic, and her friendliness to South American military dictators gave the impression that Britain had lost interest in these far-flung remnants of Empire.

If my auntie had balls...

As soon as boots were on the ground against a conscript army it was game over. Same as in Iraq, white underpants on a stick.

Indeed - but those boots caused Trench foot and they were supposed to be helicoptered into the arena , not " Yomping " for miles . Plus they nearly scrapped the Vulcans that were used . It was all a quirk of fate , just like the IRA in Brighton

Why don't we all just start living in the present, rather than dragging up a past on what we could have been. Too often the world lives in the past.

Be thankful that you're alive, there is a lot of war and violence in the world

Try living in North Korea

In some way we are all greedy in a difference way, money is the root of all evil

You have to admire her for one thing though - right to the end she behaved just like any other person in our 'society'...

After all, aren't all pensioners allowed to die in the luxury of the Ritz after having enjoyed their latter decade being waited on by a minimum of two full time flunkies?

Fair play to her
She wanted us all to be equal and for Dustbin men to pay the same as Dukes with a poll tax

I'm sure she would have supported a 'democratic' decision...

Audience members at the West End production of Billy Elliot were asked to decide whether a song anticipating Margaret Thatcher's death should be performed hours after she passed away.

A Billy Elliot insider said: ''It was taken seriously and debated and finally decided that it would be best to put it to a democratic vote to the audience.

''It was a near unanimous verdict to keep the song in and go ahead. It was an electric show.''

Only three audience members voted against the song being performed in the light of Baroness Thatcher's death.

Oh how it is to be loved by an audience...

Then labour came in and made it so dustbin men paid more in tax % than dukes.

Though I'm sure thatcher bashes will come along to say what the left did wrong was also thatchers fault.

Are you trying to say that the last labour government was left wing???
It was Thatcherism by any other name.

Yeah but they were amateurs just playing at it.

Are you trying to say that the last labour government was left wing???

Nearly 50% of GDP as state spending.

Support for and supported by the unions.

Pro welfare.

Pro regulation.

Pro subsidies of industry.

Pro immigration.

You might argue what the labour government was, but only how far to the left it was.

It was Thatcherism by any other name.

So yea, Both Blair and Gordon brown left school before Thatcher was even prime minister, and you want to blame their actions on Thatcher.

The end of humanity 2000000000000AD , THATCHER WHAT DID YOU DO!!!!!!!!!
