I recently had to fit a wall mounted TV bracket which caused me some grief so I'm putting this on as I'm sure many people must search for this.
Firstly you need to know whether your wall is single or double boarded. I've just used the largest 'grip it's' and wasn't impressed, gave up with them after having to go back to the shop a second time to get the 'undercutting tool' as my wall was double boarded. I then used hollow wall fixings and their setting tool ie

and using them was ten times faster!
I'll only use these from now on, I wonder whether you've had similar experiences?
