Applications include ,lotion, balm, wash, ointment, salve, face cream, mud pack, ice bag, bandage, compress, dressing, tourniquet, alcohol, alcohol rub, stimulant, rubefacient, emollient, pomade, poultice, talcum powder, unguent, plaster, heating pad; cosmetics, lotion and medicine.
 
That, my friend, was a copy and paste and could easily have, apart from the last word, been ignored.
