The lockdown plumber

Thanks for all the responses.
In the first instance and to have him up and running, I am inclined to go with the fernco solution. @dilalio suggested the 1 1/4inch fitting. Can I check that this is the right size given that I will have a 32mm waste pipe with the remnants of an elbow over it too?
 
UPDATE: Ordered the Fernco fitting from Ebay. It's fitted and working a a treat. Thanks for your help.
