It is no longer possible to make your UCAS application on a paper form, unless you wish to apply in the medium of Welsh.

Absolutely typical, there's far too much discrimination against the English.

Yeah but the 'medium' of Welsh. Like the 'medium' of 'darnce' or 'thayarter'.

'I would like to apply to university through the medium of dance, in the style of fire! wa wa waaaawn! *dances like flame*.

'Very good, Mr student man. You are accepted'

'Yes!'

Is it possible to apply to UCAS online in Welsh? May be it costs too much for them to translate the site. Either that or there's a joblot of left over Welsh UCAS paper forms left over... :?

Bit odd, but I wouldn't say it was biased against the English. As I remember, the last Census let you be either English, Scottish, N.Irish etc.. but not Welsh. They ran out of boxes because they had to include all the minorities!! :?

I know that a lot of government literature has to be bilingual if sent to Wales.

It annoys me that bilingual traffic signs (for roadworks) are used in the UK... (I've seen them in Norfolk, Birmingham, Leeds)

Seem to be a requirement for bilingual stuff in Wales - yet there is a paper bank near our depot that is completely in Welsh, not a sniff of English anywhere, despite being nowhere near Wales.

If Iever decide to change career I'm going t obecome a self-employed signwriter in Wales (everything is double)

There are businesses all over Wales that are completely in English, not a sniff of Welsh anywhere, despite being nowhere near England and despite there being mandatory Bilingual requirements. :?

Some small Welsh companies simply can't afford to publish all their literature in Welsh as well. Welsh translators aint cheap

Everyone knows that the reintroduction of the Welsh language was done for the sole purpose of annoying the English.

When we become 'A Europe of Cities and Regions in an Integrated Continent.' and not the 'Europe of Nations' we thought it was all about ... Wales, Scotland (with new leadership) and Ireland will exist but our England will be split into the 'regions' we thought we'd buried ....

Somebody is paying for This lot
:?

Aren't there many opportunities in the Fried Fish trade in Denbighshire?
