The perils of cloakroom space saver toilets

L

I've fitted a couple of these recently and they can be a real pain. The space seems to be saved on the rear of the pan/cistern and not the front as one would expect and the projection of the pan outlet is not adjusted accordingly so you end up with a toilet with a gap of about 3" behind the slim cistern.
They are ok if the waste goes out through the wall but for a cloakroom with a floor exiting waste they are a nightmare. Also as a cloakroom normally has a basin waste pipe as well, a swan neck pan connector cannot be used.
Just thought I would mention it incase anyone is thinking of buying one. The amount of space saved is not worth the hassle.
