Evening everyone

So...my neighbour has a macerator connected to her understairs toilet. She also has a cistern with an internal overflow fitted to said toilet, with some sort of leaking float valve.Would I be correct in thinking that when the valve has let a certain amount of water through to the toilet this would be enough to automatically set off the macerator?

Only reason I'm asking is 'cos we have back to back stairs and the 30 seconds of buzzing every 10 mins or so is getting is getting slightly err...annoying.Especially when your just dropping off to sleep and BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! :x

If it's just a washer or diaphragm that needs changing then i can do that no probs but....If the answer to this question is NO....can any one recommend a good urologist?? :D

thanks

Yes if the toilet was overflowing it would set the saniflo off. Fills up to a level makes a switch and BUZZZ

Ball valve needs adjusting/replacing
