no just hold the tap and use a pair of adjustables
so i went to the diy centre to get an adjustabe today. managed to get the insert out with a bit of force. turned the water back on & out it came. so i took the cold water insert out aswell & noticed that a bit has come away from the hot one. i swapped them over & now the hot water is gushing out, better than ever! the cols works aswell, but im gonna go & get a new insert at the weekend. just wanted to say a huge thank you! you are an absolute star! more people like you is what the world needs (sorry, bit over the top, but so so happy)
