The top bar above is a dull grey and don't activate if pressed when I want to express myself with a funny/sad face or bold and itilic.

Who know's what's up?

I think it's different on a smart phone, particularly if the user hasn't synch'd their phone smilies with the site.

I have been a member for 12 years....... used to come on here quite alot for help and advice which was fantastic ...used to also use the open discussion for all other topics, which was debatable with everybodys point of view wether you agreed with it or not..............but when you see a topic where you cant put smiley faces on FFS this should be on a school chat
