You know that a typical lefty's response to such a question is always given on humanitarian principles and grounds without any thought for the security aspect. I would say on a humanitarian principle is if you want to stop refugees and assylum seekers then stop making them and stop the wars.
From a security stand point, the millions of assylum seekers and refugees are a big security risk, they pose a considerable threat to us as we do not check their backgrounds or even know who they are, we do however see boat loads comming accross from mainly young fighting age men and so my response is not to welcome them in and to deport them ASAP within a week of landing here.
