The UK government didn’t want you to see this report

They're not looking after ecosystems
Building houses to give to boat people
and not using agricultural land properly, so if there was a war we wouldn't have enough food.
Mental climate loons concreting over farm lad to install solar panels, and at the same time spraying the sky's to dim the sun.
Previous government was working towards a sustainable target but this government scrapped it.
That's what I gather.

Strangely enough one reason the farmers voted for brexit was because they perceived the EU requirements as regards subsidies being in some way linked to ecosystem protection practices was affecting them financially wise...

And the campaign at the time 'promised' them at least equal if not better funding...

Of course that was just but one in the long list of brexit lies, but the damage was done...

So you see, all governments are to blame!

The system was crazy -- we gave the EU millions for them to give few pounds back as subsidies to farmers and people called it an EU subsidy - like the money never came from us in the first place

Yes it did

Yes both governments did not really want brexit and have shafted the farmers.
Lets see what the 3rd government do.

Same goes for any other nature conservation on farmland, or wind/solar farms.

Also open-border immigration policies lead to more houses on farmland and less food production. So more dependence on food imports, causing higher CO2 emissions, and lower food security.

All bloody obvious stuff, but it seems it's necessary to explain the obvious these days as logic contradicts the lefty pseudo-religious eco-nonsense that's being spouted.

Links to further information are available, so you have an opportunity to see for yourself and judge our commitment to seeing environmental policies working for our benefit, not just lining the pockets of people who aren't invested in making a sustainable future for all of us.
Are you talking on behalf of this government?
Do you work for them?
BTW, Tories failed, but at least we were surviving.
With Labour all we see is massive U-turns, corruption and massive taxes for the working class.
All of this while they destroy the environment for our own benefit.
I believe you...not.

>>Snip<< But the core of the problem, which is faced by all democratic countries, is that environmental problems only have expensive, long-term solutions, and we simply don't have the political mechanisms and infrastructure to establish them on a sustainable basis.

Politicians can see no further ahead than the next election, where the whim of the electorate could put them out of a job. A project that needs ten years of consistent manpower and funding to achieve anything also needs to maintain a vulnerable cross-party consensus on its necessity, and the political will to defend its budget against the more pressing claims of short-term projects that would yield tangible electoral benefits.

Paradoxically, the only country with the political will and long-term vision to actually solve environmental problems is China,>>Snip<<
There is a solution, which China has, for it's own state some years ago, recognised. e

The human overpopulation of the planet.

Unfortunately, for the rest of the world it needs both political and religious input to actively be firm with mankind to limit childbirth to a maximum of say two births per couple.
this government could make a start by Taxing large (more than 4 children) for any children born after April 5th 2027; stop paying child allowance for child except the second child.

This government is doing exactly the opposite.
Rewarding families with more than 4 children and unemployed parents (usually declared disabled but not really disabled).

I know. They haven't a clue and should be ashamed of themselves. All they can see is more votes for the next election.
