The World giving index has revealed the 10 most generous & caring countries last year.

Ranked by the percentage of the population who gave money to charity with in the last month of the study.

Indonesia 79%
Malta 73%

Is there an index for the most stupid nation where a government takes money under penalty of prison (tax) from it's population, and sprays it around the 3rd world? We would win hands down.

FOREIGN AID - taking money from the poor people of a rich country, and giving it to the rich people of a poor country.

fairly pointless statistics really
every one who pays 4p for a carrier in the uk may be giving to charity as most big supermarkets dont keep the carrier bag tax but give it to charity
so you need to know what is behind the statistics and how much as 91% giving 1% off a weeks wages a year is far less than 61% giving 1% off a months wage

it may be that in Myanmar organ donation is an opt out process and only 19% choose to opt out so making a 91% donating level
you really cant form any useful information without knowing far far more facts
after all the tories claimed child poverty was reducing a few years ago when in fact it had increased but because it was in relation to adult poverty that had gone through the roof it actually appeared to be less
