Funny how a certain 'doctor' a while back was quite rightly pursued for conducting medical trials to see 'what might happen'...
Of course things have the appearance of being more 'civilised' these days, but there is a history of experiments going on in many countries across the world known or unknown...
I'd be more inclined to give this experiment more credence if members of the government offered up young members of their families to be the guinea pigs...

It’s for 18 year olds upwards. Are you suggesting that members of government can 'offer up' their adult children? Would you be able to 'offer up' any child of yours that was over the age of 18 for anything or do you treat them like adults?

Likely because he was not worried about the cowpox (which he saw as safe), but was worried about the requirement to then infect him Small Pox to test to see if the cowpox inoculation worked.
