Who ever he was he needed a kicking.
Top tip rhb.
Use a direct horizontal cylinder and up end it. Then no sludge. Domes on both ends with the appropiate tappings. And a drain off valve fitted.

Spot on Mr W.

He must be very thick skinned to keep coming back after getting banned so many times!

Tony

Aye, it's Dr Drivel aka Water Systems, Big Burner etc etc....LOL!!!
I guess he's like my good self, that can be spotted a mile away.

But there is a big difference between the two of you!

You are a working person in the plumbing industry with many years of experience and who started with an apprenticeship.

You only get banned because you sometimes overstep the mark with criticsm of a few individuals.

Dr Drivel is a graduate ( many moons ago ) who did work as a design engineer on commercial size non condensing boilers.

But the real difference is that he has no practical experience of any boiler installation or fault finding and retired many years ago and just likes to post with his ideas gleaned from reading manufacturer's literature and in some cases even misinterpretating what he reads!

Oh well, at least it keeps us mildly entertained Tony...LOL!!!
