Hi,

We've spent the last 6 months doing an extension and have the tilers coming in for the bathroom late September. Thought I'd best pick up where I'd left off and make sure everything was in place before they came.

Had left the thermostatic shower in it's box after a quick look over when it arrived a few months back and thought nothing of it until looking a bit closer at the connector today and it's not what I'd planned for, just leaving the 2 x 15mm sticking out the backer board 150mm apart.

Stupidly I'd expected the a male - male offset connector and i'd sub it out for one of the fast fix brackets over the tiling. But this has a male - brass sleeve held in by a grub screw.

Is there a surface mount fitting system that connects to this or am I looking at taking the backer board off and having to fit a 15 x 3/4" end feed or something in the wall?

Thanks in advance

Is there anything else in the box? I’m slightly confused, is it a pushfit type, or would the male end be on show?

By the looks of it , It's a pushfit offset fitting kit, the threaded ends would be fitted into a 1/2" or 3/4" female end. Then the bar pushfits on and is secured by the grub screws.

Therefore the wall needs to be cut back a little, the pipes cut back and a couple of either of these pipework dependent, then the wall sealed back up, do they have shrouds that fit over too to finish it off?

They do @Madrab

Cool, was hoping that there might be some surface mount but more I look into it the more I come back to what you've said.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated
