Hi guys,

I've purchased a new power shower complete with thermostatic valve. I've got an unvented system supplying the unit - Megaflow on the hot supply.

Before connecting the supplies, I get around 3.5 going to the unit. However, when I turn the shower on, im getting around a quarter of a BAR!

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Im pretty sure it has something to do with the thermostatic valve.

All ideas welcome - Need this sortin!

Thanks,
Darren

When you say stop tap, do you mean the tap just above the Thermostat itself? Because if thats the case then I have yes!

Open fully with balanced pressures coming in.

Any ideas?

Where are you measuring this pressure of 0.25 Bar ?

Ive taken the shower head off the shower hose - Its coming out so low, plumbers measured it at 0.25 BAR approximately.

Has anyone got any ideas with this? I can't work it out and my shower is trickling out.

It's pretty poor.
