Have a Vaillant ecoFit Pure 835 newly installed, looking for a thermostat that would work best with the boiler.
Should I be getting a Vaillant thermostat to work with it or are other brands just as good.
Would appreciate any advice. Thank you

Get a Vaillant thermostat. None of the aftermarket ones will be as good.

A Vaillant control using ebus will work better because that's what it's designed to do. Others will be standard on/off controls

As above! It will be a bit expensive, and need much more than just a thermostat - It's an entire, integrated system. Well worth the extra expense, because they are a very clever system.
