Hi

I want to change the factory settings of a mixer valve but am confused as to how to do this. It doesn't have a manufacturers ID on it so I can't look up the spec.

I've changed many before where I've altered the setting with a allen key etc. but this valve seems to work using a spring which is unwound to allow more hot water through. I may be wrong but I'm guessing the spring is bi-metalic and acts as the thermostat. This being, I can't see how I can adjust it.

Personally, the shower seems pretty hot, but the customer wants to have the option of having it as hot as the basin taps (which are scorching!)

Any help much appreciated.

maybe factory set and can't be altered. whats he want it scorching for you could never use it safely at that temp.
