Thermostatic rad. valves

I've just had a number of thermostatic radiator valves fitted and they are mostly working fine. However there is one that seems to either be on or off. Is there a reason for this or is it simply a faulty valve?

Thanks for your help in advance as my mrs if going on and on and on about it.

Hi

I had the same problem the other day, the TRV was only letting hot water through when the valve was moved and then shut off soon after. After closer inspection the rad needed bleeding..buuuuuuurp. Working great now
