Nice one Plugwash. We can sum it up thus:

The American approach - Regulation number 157c part 35 says thou shalt not turn off more than half the coolant pumps at once.

The British approach - The way these switches work, you can't turn off more than half the coolant pumps at once.

The Russian approach - I wonder what'll happen if we ---Oh ******!!!!
 
What do you mean? In russia they sell off the coolant pumps to pay the wages. Then they blow the plant up so no one finds out.
