This snow shows who is well insulated

How quickly the snow falls of the roof, shows up how much heat is being lost, but it depends on the homeowner being able to afford to put their heat on.

Here's a sign of the times: a couple of years ago, after heavy snow, I pointed out some roofs to my granddaughter and asked her if she knew why one of them didn't have snow on it. She replied "It's coz they're growing weed".
 
Another thing: roofs with solar panels. Snow doesn't melt and drip off these steadily in the way that we are used to, no. The snow suddenly slides off in one, large solar panel shaped sheet. I wonder if anyone has been injured by this yet?
