I've got the above boiler, and when we bleed the radiators previously we had problems with the water pressure. So much so we had to call a plumber out!! It cost a fortune for a simple job, however we weren't show how to maintian the pressure, and the radiators need bleeding again! Am reluctant to do so if it means an expensive bill again!
As the boiler came with the house we don't have a manual for it. Has anyone got any advice or information?

Is there any way I can sen you my email address without putting it on the site for everyone to see? Because a manual would come in very handy.

I've sent you a message with my email, a filling loop is a braided length of flexible hose silver in colour, should have some sort of tap either end, culd be in many places though normally just under boiler but i've found them in many weird places

Know what type of hose your taking about now. there is nothing like that by the boiler but the tip about under the sink is right. Only problem is there two hoses here!

A Thorn olympic 38/50b should be ov it's too old to be a pressurized system

what does ov mean? this is very much a forgein language to me! here's some photo's of what I can see, sorry their not the best quality.

What GC number olympic is showing it can be fitted on a sealed system??

those flexi hoses are just for the taps Jo, in the loft how many water tanks do you have 1 or 2, if it's 2 one of them will be very small compared to the other one
