Hi, Ive got three cables coming into a ceiling rose with a pendant light. However, I've just purchased a new light fitting where the light fitting screws direcetly to the ceiling as its heavy. To do this I need to remove the existing rose that is screwed into the ceiling with all its cable joining blocks. So without these built in joining blocks I need to join the various cables together. I could use tape to do this (no, only joking ;) ). Can someone suggest something I could use that fits into a 4inch upsidedown dome which screws to the ceiling. I hope I've explained this sufficiently and you've got a good image of what I blabbering on about.
Thx

is a peice of terminal block small enough?

failing that is the light big enough to cover a circular dryline box?

why not put a junction box in the ceiling above the light and run a cable to your new light, oh and please note my signature
