Three way valve

First time for me on this so please bear with me !!?!?

All of a sudden when my hot water is on I am finding my radiators coming on too .... not pleasant in this weather !!!

Could this be that the three way valve needs replacing or something else ? And is there any easy test to pinpoint it ?

Any help/advice would be helpful.

Yes it might be stuck open. What make/type is it? It might "spring return" to "HW only" if you take the actuator off. Whether you can do that depends what make...

Quite often it turns out that 3 way valves have never been wired properly but it's only in this foul weather that anyone notices!
