I have a small area of 22mm solid unfinished floor at the top of the landing, I now have problems going into the rooms that have laminate in them.

I would like to use unfinished oak so I could stain this when I stain the landing floor.

Theses are the hight differences.

Bed room 14mm drop

box room 9mm drop

Bed room 2 13mm drop

Bath room 4 mm (onto tiles floor)

What sort of oak thresholds can I get for this, how will (do) they fix.

Thank you

Has anyone got any advise for these measurements please.

Make your own diminishing oak threshold strips from solid oak. All you need is a decent plane and sander.

This sounds good, would they not need to be done by a router?. I though I could just purchase something. How would just a plain strip fix down please.

a lot of planing sanding?
