I'm currently laying Solid Oak Wood Floor in my lounge which is approx 6m x 6m.
Off three sides of the lounge I have small rooms. One is 2m x 2.5m, another is 3m x 1.5m and the other is 2m x 3m.
I would personally like to lay the floor continuously through into these rooms so there is no joins in the floor. Basically for appearance reasons.
Would this be ok or will it be better to put expansion gaps in the doorways with a threshold strip?
