Hi,
I am fitting engineered wooden floors in my flat. The three bedrooms
have 10mm wood and the hallway and sitting room have 15mm. The kitchen
is lino and the bathroom tiles.
For the gap between the sitting room and hallway I am planning on
using a flat strip. This will mean I need just a 10-15mm gap there?
Two of the bedrooms are 5mm lower than the hall, due to 10mm and 15mm
wood being used. What can I use there? Is there some uneven T bar available?
One of the bedrooms is around 10mm higher than the hallway, I was
thinking a ramp fixed to the higher wood would work. This would also the ramp bottom to slide as either floor expands/contracts.
The hallway is about 19mm higher than the lino in the kitchen, would a ramp be best here too, fixed to the wood and allowed to slide over the lino?
The hallway is about 6mm higher than the tiled bathroom what would be be suitable here?
I want whatever I get to be unfinished oak. I am based in Lewisham London.
