Tidying this up…ideas

Hi,

I’ve removed the old baxi and now have a fireplace I am planning on putting a log display in.

the edges of the plaster are rough.

Is there an edging I can buy and stick on, or would you bite the bullet and pay someone to skim the corners (presume it’s possible to make that a sharp edge?)

I have some corner tape I used for the other chimney breast.

I suppose I could tape it and then plaster in? Pretty difficult job getting those corners at 90 degrees looking good.

You need corner bead, not expensive, this is then plastered upto. This gives the neat edge
