Tile around freestanding bath waste

Yes bath can be removed and a hole cutter for tile but the crome pipe is a bend in one.
Would I be able to slide tile over crome and around the bend ?
Cut a larger hole and then use a chrome collar to hide the gap.
Tiles are big. 1200mm x 600mm
Cut waste pipe at vertical section out of floor and add new elbow section allowing tile to drop over pipe.
A new chrome elbow ?
