Hello all,

looking for some advice on tile selection.

We are having our bathroom ripped out and all new stuff fitted .

We are having a Corner freestanding bath put in . I have attached a photo of the bathroom as it is now.

The plan is to have vinyl slate effect flooring with a light grey tile 300 x 600 around all the walls.

It’s quite a large room so we hope to have some accent tiles. I was thinking of having some darker feature tiles in the corner behind the bath up the to ceiling. Do you think this would work and would you tile to the window recess or stop before it and continue the light grey tiles to the edge?

It’s a difficult one to answer without knowing where the bath will sit and then in relation to the others furniture.

my initial thought is to tile the right hand wall using the slate effect in a central band floor to ceiling.

but as said it may not work as the bath won’t be a conventional type. I would suggest fully tiling the right hand wall and then up to the window sill. But again may not be right once the bath is located in place
