Hi,

About to start tiling with travertine wall tiles. What is the best practice for tiling around a bath ?

a) First fit bath flush to untiled wall and then tile down to it
or
b) Tile the wall first and then fit the bath up against the tiled wall

Thanks

Fit bath first!
Then get your centres marked up and whether your starting from centre with half or full tile.
Then you batten out above bath, leaving a space, so your last cut is along the bath top.
You don't tile straight from top of bath!

If this is the same wall that you have just faced with the aqua panel - fit the bath, seal the bath top against the boards with sealant, then tile down onto bath and seal again onto the travertine.
