Advise on tile design

I am about to tile my bath/shower area in White travertine 450 x 300 tiles.

The area to cover is 1.5m high by 80cm (bath tap end), then the wall down the side of the bath = 1.9m in length, then a bit at the back, but not as high as 1.5m.

Do i keep it totally simple and just tile, laying the tiles horizontally, so hitting the top of the shower screen at 1.5m.

Or would you add a line of mosaic or the ledge type of thing which protrudes from the tiles ? This would be done at about a height of 60cm, maybe 90cm.

the shower area should really be done upto the ceiling, so that might answer your question, have you tanked the shower area ? because if not you should, also use bagged addy not tubbed
